On September 15, the official launch ceremony of the project to support security sector reform and the rule of law by strengthening governance, capacities and border control in CAR was held in the CNSS conference room.
With nearly $3,000,000 in U.S. government funding, the project will be implemented jointly by the Central African government, MINUSCA and UNDP Central Africa.
“This new funding represents an important step forward in cooperation between the United States and the Central African Republic in the field of security and border control,” said John Robinson, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the US Embassy.
