Over forty students from the English Literature Department at Université de Bangui interacted with Ambassador Patricia Mahoney during a speaking and listening session she led. Family and family relationships were at the heart of this lively exchange, where the students answered questions using a fun, engaging, and instructive approach.
Ambassador Mahoney’s participation opens a series of sessions to be led by members of the U.S. Embassy’s American community, aimed at exposing students to native English, fostering understanding among students, and bringing the American and Central African peoples closer together.
